Affordable Easter Basket Stuffer Ideas for Toddlers

Growing up, I remember my mom always making holidays special. Christmas, Easter, and everything in between were filled with unforgettable memories. I aim to do the same thing for my daughter. In terms of Easter, this usually means one ‘large’ present, an Easter basket filled with little goodies, and of course an egg hunt!

Here are some of my toddler’s current favorite tiny toys that are perfect for helping to fill an Easter basket, and some that I will be getting for her this year:

1. Adorable Refridgerator Magnets

My daughter already has these little magnets and she loves them. She has so much fun figuring out that they stick so many places – the fridge, the trash can, the fireplace, the door! They are also an awesome tool to help her learn her animal and animal sounds. The only downside is that she will take them and hide them all over the house and then I have to hunt for them!

2. Push-To-Go Cars

I got these little cars for my toddler around Christmas to put in her stocking, but she didn’t start showing an interest in them until recently (she’s 15 months old now). Now that she’s got the hang of them she loves sending them across our hardwood – they go really far. They are great for blowing off some of that extra toddler energy because she will chase these things around for hours!

3. Baby and Toddler Safe Crayons

These crayons are made from pure beeswax which helps give me total peace of mind when my daughter is playing with them. For the most part, she is out of the “put-everything-in-my-mouth” phase, but she does still have her moments. These are also super short and stubby which makes them super easy for little hands to work with.

4. Push-Pop Fidgets

These little push-pop fidgets are the perfect size for Easter Baskets. They are also super great for being on the go. I always keep at least one of these in the car to entertain my toddler on longer car rides. They’ll also keep her occupied while waiting at restaurants or riding in a shopping cart. Plus they’re super small and flexible so they are easy to store in my purse or diaper bag. I like the animal ones that she can use year-round but there are also super cute Easter-themed options.

5. Board Books

My daughter is obsessed with books at the moment. She loves to pull all her books off of the shelf – and occasionally even look through one! This Easter, I am definitely getting her some more, because I love that she is taking such an interest in them! This is a great set that has tons of words, shapes, colors, and animals!

6. Magnetic Tiles

I have been seeing these magnetic tiles all over my TikTok and I think it is finally time to join the bandwagon. My toddler already has these larger Lego-type blocks, but she gets super frustrated trying to take them apart. I’m hoping that these will still allow her the creativity of building but without the struggle of them getting stuck together!

7. Suction Cup Spinners

I’m hoping that these suction cup spinners will be another versatile on-the-go toy option. I love that they can stick to surfaces so they will be great in the car, on the table in restaurants, and we are planning a vacation this summer so I’m sure they will be great on the plane, too! Super compact so they can easily be stored in a purse or diaper bag!

8. Easter Bunny Bubble Wand

Bubbles are and have always been a classic hit for toddlers everywhere! I love that this wand is just a little bit more extravagant than your average bubble wand – so perfect for Easter! I also like to tend to get things that make sense for my toddler to play with year-round, but also think its fun to include at least one or two Easter/bunny-related items.

9. Easter Bunny Suction Toys

Another super fun Easter-themed stuffer are these suction cup bunnies! I love that they come in such festive colors, and I think they will look super good in my daughter’s Easter basket. Also a super great option for a car, restaurant, or travel toy!

10. Wooden Sorting Barn

I love the idea of having seasonal toys so that my toddler doesn’t get too bored with having the same toys out all the time. Potentially, I think that this is a great option that we could probably get a few years out of. I love that it is on theme for the holiday, but still can help her fine motor and speech skills!

At the end of the day, we are all just doing all that we can to make these holidays memorable for our children. The truth is, no matter what we give them, as long as we are there and present, they will likely remember these days with fondness. However, these are just a few little goodies that won’t break the bank this Easter.

Let me know if your toddler has or likes any of these toys, or if you use any for your child’s Easter basket!
